Detectives discover Conroe male using AI in Child Exploitation

During the month of May 2026, Constable Ryan Gable’s Criminal Investigations Division opened an investigation involving an 18-year-old male, identified as [man] of Conroe, Texas. During the investigation, detectives learned that [the suspect] used an artificial intelligence program on his cellular phone to alter public social media photographs of several underage females by removing their clothing. The altered images depicted the faces of minors with nude bodies from the neck down.
On May 28, 2026, detectives executed a search warrant at [the suspect]’s residence in Conroe, Texas. [The suspect]’s devices were seized and later forensically analyzed. Based on the evidence developed during the investigation, Pct. 3 detectives established probable cause to believe [the suspect] created the images of the underage females with the intent to possess Child Sexual Assault Material (CSAM).
[The suspect] was arrested at his residence and charged with five counts of Possession of Child Pornography, a second-degree felony, and one count of Possession of a Controlled Substance, Methamphetamine, a state jail felony.
This is an ongoing investigation to identify additional victims. Detectives are asking anyone with information related to this case or the defendant to contact 281-364-4211 and ask to speak with a detective.
