August 1 – September 7, 2026 – Houston Restaurant Weeks – Houston Restaurant Weeks™ 2026 is a 38-day dining event benefiting the Houston Food Bank. From August 1 through September 7, participating restaurants across Greater Houston will offer specially priced prix fixe brunch, lunch, and dinner menus, with proceeds helping provide meals for those in need. August 15, 2026 – The Woodlands Chamber’s Chairman’s Ball – Join The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce for The Chairman’s Invitational Chairman’s Ball, honoring 2025-2026 Chamber Chairman Justin Kendrick, SVP & CEO of Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Medical Center. The 2026 Chairman’s Ball will feature a fresh twist. This year’s theme, The Chairman’s Invitational, will set a vintage golf-inspired tone as guests swap tuxes and ball gowns for country club chic attire. August 29, 2026 – Young Makers Market – The Woodlands Arts Council’s Young Makers Market is a one-of-a-kind opportunity for students grades 3 through 12 (ages 9 – 18) to sell their unique artistic creations in a one-day mini-arts festival. May 12 – August 6, 2026 – Entwined Art Exhibition – The Woodlands Arts Council (TWAC) presents “Entwined,” its first exhibition to feature a married couple. Bob Mosier and Karen Fearon, partners for 32 years and former educators at The John Cooper School, now devote their time to individual artistic practices rooted in a shared creative dialogue. August 2, 2026 – The Woodlands Cars & Coffee for a Cause – The Woodlands Car Club car enthusiasts gather at Market Street the first Sunday of each month from 6-10 a.m. to provide a fun and creative way to give back to our community. All types of cars/vehicles from classics, hot rods, exotics, and more are welcome. August 22, 2026 – The Walk – This year’s Black and White themed ball will take place on Saturday, August 22 from 6:00 p.m. to midnight at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel & Convention Center. Chaired by Kim Bonilla and Tina Goodson, proceeds from the event will benefit the many Programs and Services offered by Interfaith of The Woodlands to support neighbors experiencing crisis in South Montgomery County. The Walk is creatively led by Courtney Pell Wilkerson and Noemi Gonzalez. The event will feature a New York-style runway fashion show showcasing designs from Pell 1990 and Suitsupply, along with a luxury bid board and live auction. August 26, 2026 – Prevailing HOPE: A Gathering for Good – Child Advocates of Montgomery County will host the inaugural Prevailing HOPE: A Gathering for Good luncheon, a community event dedicated to uplifting children in crisis and honoring the individuals who rise above adversity to create lasting change. August 27, 2026 – Montgomery County Community Foundation Shoot Out – Get ready for hunting season with the annual Montgomery County Community Foundation Shoot Out. Teams of 4 compete for bragging rights as winners of this multi-stationed sporting clays competition. Able’s Gun Club, located at 357 FM 1791, Huntsville, TX 77320 will be the site of the 2026 event. Event check in opens at 2:00 pm with the competition starting at 3:00 pm. Score cards determine the 2026 MCCF Shoot Out top two winning teams and top shooter.
