August 1 – September 7, 2026 – Houston Restaurant Weeks – Houston Restaurant Weeks™ 2026 is a 38-day dining event benefiting the Houston Food Bank. From August 1 through September 7, participating restaurants across Greater Houston will offer specially priced prix fixe brunch, lunch, and dinner menus, with proceeds helping provide meals for those in need. The 2026 Chairman’s Ball will feature a fresh twist. This year’s theme, The Chairman’s Invitational, will set a vintage golf-inspired tone as guests swap tuxes and ball gowns for country club chic attire. Chaired by Kim Bonilla and Tina Goodson, proceeds from the event will benefit the many Programs and Services offered by Interfaith of The Woodlands to support neighbors experiencing crisis in South Montgomery County. The Walk is creatively led by Courtney Pell Wilkerson and Noemi Gonzalez. The event will feature a New York-style runway fashion show showcasing designs from Pell 1990 and Suitsupply, along with a luxury bid board and live auction. August 27, 2026 – Montgomery County Community Foundation Shoot Out – Get ready for hunting season with the annual Montgomery County Community Foundation Shoot Out. Teams of 4 compete for bragging rights as winners of this multi-stationed sporting clays competition. Able’s Gun Club, located at 357 FM 1791, Huntsville, TX 77320 will be the site of the 2026 event. Event check in opens at 2:00 pm with the competition starting at 3:00 pm. Score cards determine the 2026 MCCF Shoot Out top two winning teams and top shooter.
