Discovery School of Innovation opens Six-Acre Campus in The Woodlands area for the 2026-2027 School Year
Discovery School of Innovation opened its new six-acre campus this week for the 2026–2027 school year, marking a significant expansion for one of the region’s fastest-growing private schools.

The fully accredited school serves students from Pre-K4 through Grade 8 and offers what many families are seeking: a low student-to-teacher ratio of 11-to-1, certified teachers who know each student, and a hands-on curriculum that integrates AI, coding, and technology with strong academic fundamentals.
“We are proud to serve The Woodlands community, and this campus represents our continued commitment to the families of this region,” said Catherine Sagar, Director of Discovery School of Innovation. “The facility was designed around our educational philosophy, in which the learning environment itself plays an active role in each child’s development.”
Discovery School’s Pre-K4 program is inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, emphasizing child-led inquiry, collaboration, and thoughtfully designed learning environments. In elementary and middle school, students develop strong academic foundations, independence, and critical thinking through personalized, project-based instruction.

The new campus also lays the foundation for continued expansion into the upper grades. Discovery School is planning to add a high school in the near future, with the goal of ultimately offering families a complete Pre-K through Grade 12 educational pathway.
Enrollment for the 2026–2027 school year is open. Enrollment information and campus tours are available at discoverysi.org.
