Interfaith Community Clinic celebrates 30 Years of Hope, Healing & Health
Interfaith Community Clinic is excited to celebrate a milestone anniversary this month, 30 years of providing compassionate, quality healthcare to uninsured neighbors throughout Montgomery County.
In honor of three decades of service and community impact, Interfaith Community Clinic will host its 30 Years of Hope, Healing & Health Anniversary Reception on Monday, November 16, 2026, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Amerigo’s Grille in The Woodlands. The special evening will bring together longtime supporters, community partners, volunteers and friends of the Clinic to reflect on its remarkable legacy and celebrate the countless lives touched over the past 30 years. Guests will enjoy cocktails and hors d’oeuvres while honoring the individuals and organizations whose generosity and dedication have made the Clinic’s mission possible. The reception is generously underwritten by Amerigo’s Grille.

For 30 years, Interfaith Community Clinic has served as a vital healthcare resource for neighbors who might otherwise go without care. What began with a vision from Dr. Joel Kerschenbaum, to create a clinic where every neighbor could receive quality healthcare regardless of their ability to pay has grown into an organization providing nearly 6,000 patient visits each year.
“Reaching 30 years is an incredible testament to the compassion and generosity of this community,” said Missy Herndon, President & CEO of Interfaith Community Clinic. “For three decades, our volunteers, medical professionals, donors and community partners have come together to ensure our neighbors have access to the care they need. We are incredibly grateful for all those who have been part of this journey and look forward to carrying this mission forward for generations to come.”
Today, the Clinic provides access to medical and behavioral health services while also connecting patients to vital screenings through partnerships with local hospitals. The clinic aims to provide comprehensive medical checkups, assist patients with managing chronic conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure, and provide women with essential preventive care, including well-woman exams and referrals for screenings and mammograms. Our reach extends beyond our main clinic with an additional location in Cut and Shoot, helping us serve even more neighbors throughout Montgomery County. Through our partnership with Compassion United, we also provide care to individuals experiencing homelessness by bringing healthcare services directly to their Miracle City Campus.
The 30th Anniversary Reception will offer an opportunity to reflect on the thousands of lives touched by the Clinic while raising support to ensure its services remain available for years to come.
