14th Annual Empty Bowls raises funds for Interfaith Food Pantry
The 14th Annual Empty Bowls event was held on Saturday, February 23 at The John Cooper School’s Student Center on campus at One John Cooper Drive, The Woodlands, Texas.
The John Cooper School chapter of the National Art Honor Society (NAHS) and Cooper Art Society (CAS) take the lead each year to help fight hunger in our community through the annual Empty Bowls event. The event has raised over $90,000 for hunger relief over the past 13 years.
The community was invited to attend and enjoy a bowl of soup for $10, bid in a silent auction, view student art and take home a handmade bowl as a reminder that there are empty bowls in our community and you just helped fill one. All proceeds from the event benefitted the Interfaith Food Pantry.
