AT&T Customers Unable To Dial 911
Emergency dispatch centers across Texas are receiving reports that AT&T customers are unable to call 911 at this time from cellular phones.
Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office reported on March 8, 2017 that AT&T cell phones cannot dial out 911 nationwide right now. For those cell users dial 936-760-5800 to reach law enforcement.
AT&T has made a statement that they are aware of a service issue affecting some calls to 911 for wireless customers on Wednesday. “We’re working to resolve it as quickly as possible. We apologize for this inconvenience.”
