Mobile Collection Site in Creekside
Harris County Public Health mobile collection site will be at Lone Star College in Creekside Monday, May 11, 2020 through Saturday, May 16, 2020. Everyone is welcome and must schedule an appointment. Appointments can be scheduled online at https://covcheck.hctx.net/ or by phone by calling (832) 927-7575. Drop-ins without a scheduled appointment will not be accepted.

Boat House re-opens with reservation system

“The Woodlands Township is committed to providing residents and guests with a fun environment while still keeping safety as a top priority. A newly-implemented reservation system is available with parties booking in 10-minute intervals in order to follow safe social distancing measures. To make your reservation for fun on The Woodlands Waterway and Lake Woodlands, please call 281-210-3965. Please note, to eliminate cash/card handling on-site, all payments for reservations must be made over the phone. No cash will be accepted.”

Single kayaks rent for $15 for an hour, and tandem kayaks and paddle boards rent for $20 for an hour. Swan boats rent for $25 for an hour. A valid ID is required for all rentals, and there is a two-person maximum per kayak. Liability waivers can be completed online at www.thewoodlandstownship-tx.gov/rivarowboathouse. Please note, each guest is required to acknowledge liability and complete a waiver before departing on the water.

County News

Montgomery County COVID-19 Case Count
Montgomery County Public Health District, in conjunction with Montgomery County Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Management, confirms there are now 425 ACTIVE cases of COVID-19. That number includes 52 hospitalizations. 249 people have fully recovered! The number of total positive cases has increased 10 since yesterday to 689.

Harris County COVID-19 Case Count
As of May 7, 2020 (4 p.m.), Harris County Public Health (HCPH) has 3,150 positive cases (1,213 active cases). HCPH is also confirming that 1,868 of its patients have recovered. There have been 69 total deaths of COVID-19 in Harris County. None of these numbers include the City of Houston. A full description of the numbers can be found here: https://tinyurl.com/tzymvk5

The Village of Creekside Park is located in two zip codes: 77375 and 77389 and these also include Magnolia, Augusta Pines/Auburn Lakes/West Rayford Road in northwest Harris County. Today, Harris County is reporting zip code 77375 has 54 cases and 77389 has 38 cases.
