Wine and Food Week hosts Wine Around the World Wednesday
On June 8, 2022, Wine and Food Week hosted Wine Around the World Wednesday at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel & Convention Center where guests got to “travel” around the world – no passport required – and enjoy an international wine-tasting experience.
Salud! Attendees were off to Spain after a welcome reception. Then they made their way to Bulgaria, Greece, and Argentina with a final stop in the Wine Country, USA. Guests had the opportunity to sample and compare wines and varietals from all over the world without leaving home alongside industry experts plus partake in lite bites with international foods paired with each wine. Knowledgeable wine experts were on hand to walk audiences through the wines and explore the wine industry in the country of origin.

Experience national and international wines at wine tastings, new events like Rose’ Way: A Sweet Soiree, and For the Love of Texas, all culminating in an elaborate Wine Rendezvous Grand Tasting & Chef Showcase including the Bayway Cadillac Premium VIP Lounge.
The Wine Rendezvous Grand Tasting & Chef Showcase will be held this Saturday, June 10 at the The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Ballroom where acclaimed chefs compete for the coveted GOYA Foods Chef of Chefs Award with a Waterford crystal trophy and $5,000 cash prize. Those looking for that extra touch of VIP can purchase tickets to the Bayway Cadillac VIP Luxury Lounge with specialty wines.
