City Place to Host Inaugural Bites & Beats Night Market Event Nov. 10

UPDATED NOVEMBER 8, 2023: Bites and Beats has been rescheduled to Sunday, December 3, from noon to 4:00pm.

SPRING, TX – Open to the public and free to attend, the evening event will feature a myriad of unique culinary partners, several interactive maker stations and a pair of curated DJs.

In partnership with acclaimed Houston nonprofit Urban Harvest, the inaugural Global Bites & Beats night market will feature notable pop up partners showcasing Houston’s culinary diversity, including vendors like The Bakers Man, Casetta Cucina, Karunas Kitchen, Dumpling Haus, Gelato Constantino, Nisha’s Quick N Eze, Bloom Food Truck, Milo’s Meals, and Momma’s Tamales. In addition to food for sale, there will also be a cash bar.

Montrose music destination The Flat’s beloved proprietor DJ Sun is curating the world sounds for the series, beginning with the pairing of DJs Beat Sicarios and Malcolm Bravo.

Adding to the evening’s flair will be an interactive makers market presented by City Place creative social club Oiler Studio. Highlights will include leather stamping earrings, bead work, terrariums, floral headbands, selfie stations, make your own charcuterie boards and more. Pricing will vary by activity.

Bites & Beats takes place Friday, November 10 from 6-9 pm at City Place Plaza, 1250 Lake Plaza Dr., Spring, TX 77389.

Founded in 1994, Urban Harvest is a nonprofit organization that enriches the Houston community by providing community garden programming, farmers markets, gardening classes, and youth education.
