Art Dash kicks off weekend of The Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival

By  |

The Art Dash Party was held on the evening of Friday, April 8, 2022 at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel and Convention Center including artwork of artists who will be featured at this weekend’s Fidelity Investments The Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival. Artists and supporters of the arts gathered together at the event produced by The Woodlands Arts Council and presented by The Woodlands Compounding Pharmacy. Attendees had the opportunity to mingle with talented artists, savor delicious light bites and cocktails, and a 60-second “dash” for treasures to take home.

Haley Garcia, Art Dash Party Chair and Board Member of The Woodlands Arts Council, stated, “My mission as a board member and Chair for this evening is to bring even more exposure to all The Woodlands Arts Council does for the arts in our community, and how happy we are to share it as we enjoy the evening together.”

VIP Artists visited with guests in the Art Dash Gallery where art collectors planed their Art Dash strategy. Special announcements and thank you’s were made by Haley Garcia, Art Dash Party Chair, Jenny Carattini-Wright, TWAC Executive Director, and James Stilwell, TWAC Board of Directors President. Emcees Nick Wolda and Alex Bunch led the program and live auction along with special guest Nelda Blair as the auctioneer.
