“Art for Healing” Exhibition on display through May to benefit PTSD Foundation of America

On Friday, April 28, 2023, Seychelles Med & Laser Spa and Waves Salon hosted the “Art for Healing” Exhibition Kick Off Event benefiting the PTSD Foundation of America.

During the come-and-go event, guests enjoyed complimentary food and drink provided by Chef Michelle’s Catering To Your Taste Buds while viewing artwork on display throughout the 8200 sq. ft. spa and salon, meeting local artists and veterans, and entering to win raffles and prizes.

Local artists Rebecca Steele and Steven Barnett, also the Veteran Coordinator of the PTSD Foundation of America, were in attendance and talked with guests about their artwork. The art exhibition will remain on display during Seychelles Med & Laser Spa’s 9th anniversary celebration in May and proceeds from artwork sold will benefit the PTSD Foundation of America.

PTSD Foundation of America‘s mission is to bring hope and healing to Combat Veterans and their families suffering from the effects of combat-related Post Traumatic Stress. They do this by taking a whole-person approach, offering evidence-based peer-to-peer mentoring, both on an individual basis and in group settings.
