Arts in the Park to highlight Local Artists
THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS – Celebrate spring with The Woodlands Township Parks and Recreation Department at Arts in the Park on Saturday, March 10, 2018, from 2 to 6 p.m. at Rob Fleming Park, 6055 Creekside Forest Drive.
Arts in the Park is a free event featuring live stage performances, concessions for purchase, original arts and crafts made by local artisans, a KidZone with activities and face painting, and more.
“Arts in the Park is a great tradition in The Woodlands and offers a family-friendly atmosphere for the local community,” said Director of Parks and Recreation Chris Nunes. “We encourage our residents to attend and bring their family and friends along for the fun.”
Local artists who are interested in selling handmade artwork, woodwork, pottery, paintings, jewelry, photography and more can apply for vendor space to sell items at this event. Vendors should submit applications online by visiting www.thewoodlandstownship-tx.gov/artsinthepark or by emailing email@example.com. The arts/craft vendor booth fee is $50. Spaces are limited, so vendors are encouraged to apply as soon as possible.
