Astros Caravan makes a special visit to meet patients at Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital

On Wednesday, January 17, the Houston Astros Caravan visited patients at Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital.

The Houston Astros Caravan, including players Ryan Pressly (Pitcher), David Hensley (Second Baseman), and Grae Kessinger (Shortstop) plus their beloved mascot Orbit, stopped to visit with Houston Methodist patients, medical personnel, and staff members. The Houstons Astros took photos with the tiniest newborn patients (and their excited parents), appreciative fans on the mend, and even got to meet Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital’s new CEO, David Bernard.

The Houston Astros Caravan, the team’s annual fan-outreach tour, traveled throughout the Houston area, Corpus Christi, San Antonio and Austin this year from January 17 to 19 with Astros players, alumni, and broadcasters.
