Bark in the Park at Grand Central Park on November 4

By  |

Mighty mutts and pure-bred pups can strut their stuff at the Bark in the Park dog walk on Saturday, November 4th at Grand Central Park. The Bark in the Park event will have a 1 mile or 2.5 mile route to walk or come along to cheer people on!

Humans and their furry Fidos can meet up at the community’s Lake House, 715 Camp Strake Road, at 8 a.m. for a canine-friendly walk. After exploring the Conroe community’s new trail system, trekkers will be treated to an after “paw-ty” featuring a pup kissing booth, Houston Disc Dogs, music, contests, pet vendors, food trucks, face painting and a bouncy house. Proceeds from the event will benefit Operation Pets Alive.

Watch our interview with Shannon League, Grand Central Park’s Director of Marketing:

Registration for the walk will start at 8:00 a.m., the walk will begin at 9:00 a.m., and the after “paw-ty” will go on until 12 p.m.
