Be An Angel Putting Clinic at Insperity Invitational
Insperity Invitational and SUCCESS Golf, part of the Be An Angel Foundation, delivered a thrilling golf experience for kids with a disability on Tuesday, April 30, 2019.
The kids played a portable nine-hole outdoor golf course on the driving range at The Woodlands Country Club Tournament Course at 10 a.m. while interacting with PGA TOUR Champions professionals.
SUCCESS Golf, part of the Be An Angel Foundation (www.beanangel.org), is designed to help children with special needs develop fine motor skills and muscle control as they focus on learning golf. The program focuses on teaching the game of a lifetime to children who would not otherwise be able to participate in a sport or hobby. Early training in the game increases the chances that once these children with multiple impairments become adults, they will have a lifelong activity to participate in and enjoy.
