By  |

On Saturday, March 1, 2025, Child Advocates of Montgomery County celebrated its 30th annual spring fundraising gala at Margaritaville Lake Resort on Lake Conroe. Approximately 500 guests gathered for an inspirational evening themed Hope Grows: A Night of Whimsy and Wonder. Presented by Huntsman Corporation, the gala continues to benefit children and families served by Child Advocates of Montgomery County.

This year’s theme, Hope Grows: A Night of Whimsy and Wonder, celebrated the nonprofit’s mission to nurture hope and healing for children impacted by trauma and abuse.

“We are deeply committed to planting seeds of hope and creating brighter tomorrows for every child we serve,” said Child Advocates President and CEO Ann Marie Ronsman. “Every dollar raised through this event allows us to empower volunteer advocates who stand by the side of vulnerable children, helping them grow and thrive despite the challenges they’ve faced. Together, we make hope grow.”

The evening was filled with immersive experiences, transporting guests into a world of wonder that highlighted resilience and growth beyond trauma. Sponsored by ProDirectional, the Whimsy and Wonder Immersive Experience featured interactive visuals and sound that brought the theme to life. Guests also enjoyed a variety of games, including the Golden Ticket game and a raffle for exquisite diamond jewelry provided by Thomas Markle Jewelers.

The gala was followed by a vibrant after-party featuring Two Tones Dueling Pianos, sponsored by Waste Connections, ensuring the celebration continued well into the night.

This year’s event was made possible through the generous support of numerous sponsors. In addition to the Presenting Sponsor, Huntsman Corporation, Visionary Sponsors included the Conlon Family and Friends, EnerCorp, and the MJ Foundation. Through the steadfast commitment of sponsors, underwriters, event guests, and generous donors, the proceeds from this single event will provide critical support to more than 250 children and families in Montgomery County.
