Child Predators arrested in Law Enforcement Operation

By  |

In the week of April 21st, Detectives from Constable Ryan Gable’s Office collaborated with various law enforcement agencies, including the Houston Area Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force, to execute a coordinated operation aimed at apprehending individuals attempting to solicit minors online for sexual exploitation. This operation resulted in the identification of several suspects who are now under investigation, with charges forthcoming.

Two suspects were arrested without incident. The operation culminated in the arrest of Brian Schultz, 39, charged with Online Solicitation of a Minor (2nd Degree Felony), and Randall Selby, 37, who was charged with Sexual Assault of a Child (1st Degree Felony). Following an interview with Schultz, detectives discovered he was employed as a Kindergarten Teacher at Snyder Elementary within the Conroe Independent School District. The Conroe ISD Police Department was promptly informed of Schultz’s arrest. Detectives urge anyone with concerns or information regarding Schultz to call 281-364-4211 and request to speak with a detective.

These arrests underscore our firm dedication to safeguarding the children in our community, and we will persist in our efforts alongside local, state, and federal partners to identify and prosecute those who aim to harm or exploit minors.

The Montgomery County Precinct 3 Constable’s Office remains resolute in its mission to track down and apprehend individuals involved in child exploitation and abuse.
