A Roaring Affair For A Cause
The American Cancer Society (ACS) held its 2nd Annual Couture for the Cause gala on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at Main Street America.
With the theme “A Roaring Affair” the event had a roaring 1920’s flair and the extravagance of The Great Gatsby. Couture for the Cause was co-chaired this year by Kristi Leggett and Amanda Beard. The evening began with a Speakeasy cocktail reception for VIP guests who had the chance to mingle, bid on silent auction items and enjoy champagne, cocktails and delicious bites from local eateries before the main event.

Emcee’s Atom Smasher of WoodlandsHits.com and Melissa Wilson of FOX 26 Houston led the festivities including the signature fashion show. Cancer patients and survivors of Montgomery County walked down the runaway and wowed guests during the fashion show presented by Macy’s.
