Flash Flood Warning in Montgomery County until 5:30pm, Flood Watch until July 24 9pm
On Tuesday, July 23, at 4:11 p.m. Montgomery County Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Management (MCOHSEM) shared the weather update that, “A flash flood warning has been issued for the highlighted areas of Montgomery County until 5:30 pm. Please do not drive in high water and give yourself extra time to get home this evening.

At 4:20 p.m., MCOHSEM shared the following weather update:
Montgomery County has been placed in a flood watch from 6 am through 9 pm tomorrow (Wednesday July 24). We’ve already seen a significant amount of rain over the last two days so any heavy rain tomorrow will likely cause flash flooding affecting the roadways and small creeks and streams. Stay weather aware. We have several more days of rain in the forecast.
