Frisky Biscuit Dog Park coming to Grand Central Park

By  |

CONROE, TX – A new feature is coming to Grand Central Park that is certain to give dog owners a moment of “paws” when they visit the Montgomery County community of new homes.

This fall, Grand Central Park will open Frisky Biscuit Dog Park, two fenced areas for large and small dogs with play equipment and a dog wash station nestled in the forested setting of the community’s West Village.

“A dog park is a big community plus for pet owners,” notes Shannon League, Grand Central Park’s director of marketing.  “Having a new dog park in our West Village neighborhood of new homes checks an important box for many prospective home buyers.”

The community has always planned for a dog park, League adds.  However plans accelerated late last year when Grand Central Park welcomed more than 300 dogs and hundreds of owners to its Bark in the Park dog walk, now an annual community event.

“For many families, dogs are a part of their lifestyle,” says League.  “Our sense is the new dog park will quickly become one of our most popular community features.”

Grand Central Park pet owners, like all community residents, also enjoy the use of a resident-only trail and pathway system.  Other community features include catch-and-release fishing, breathtaking views of the 88-acre Grand Lake, acres of forested settings, pavilions and green spaces and the new Trillium Park with babbling brook, covered pavilion and picnic tables.   Residents also enjoy recreation events and neighborhood gatherings as organized by a full-time onsite Director of Fun.

A community of new homes by Johnson Development Corp., Grand Central Park is located at I-45 North and South Loop 336, just five miles north of The Woodlands.
