Go Texan Music Fest and Cook Off & Ticket Giveaway

Grab your boots and get ready for BBQ, music and fun at the Annual Go Texan Music Fest and Cook Off this weekend at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds!

Hosted by Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, theAnnual Go Texan Music Fest and Cook Off will be on Saturday, September 24, 2016 from 12pm to 11pm. Attendees can enjoy BBQ contests, Concerts, Concessions, Vendors, and Kid’s Events with admission. Tickets are available for purchase online or at the event for $15 per adult, $5 per child, or $35 for a family 4 pack (2 adults, 2 children), with bulk ticket pricing also available for purchase.

“Every penny goes back to the kids of Montgomery Country,” shared Houston Go Metro Texan Committee (Conroe/Willis/Woodlands) public relations coordinator Paige Tooker. “Last year we were able to give back $252,000 in scholarships to our local Conroe and Montgomery ISD students!  We would love to be able to give back even more this year.”

The music lineup on Saturday from 1pm to 11pm will feature local Texas vocalist, musician, and The Voice star Sundance Head and concerts from the Scooter Brown Band, Underage, Treynwrek, Shilo, Brian Sacco, Desert Roads Band, Band Bleu, and Edmonson.

Kid’s Events will include face painting, snow cones, stick horse races, roping activities, Miss Moo, clowns, games and more! Kid zone areas are free with admission with exception of select vendors. Food and drinks are available for purchase with $1 sodas and 7 beer & wine tickets for $20.
