Lone Star College SBDC to host Small Business Success Seminars

HOUSTON, TX – The Lone Star College Small Business Development Center (LSC SBDC) is hosting a series of Business Success Seminars to provide proven strategies for businesses to be successful.

“In Texas alone, total small business revenue decreased in September 2020 by 26.6% compared to January 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic,” said Miguel Lopez, LSC SBDC Executive Director. “These seminars are a great way for owners to hear from people with the experience and know-how to pivot and adapt to the current environment.”

Selling in the New Normal

Troy Elmore, president, Impassioned Sales Solutions, LLC Sandler Training will share his extensive sales and sales consulting experience and his passion for helping companies take their business to the next level. The seminar takes place Oct. 14 and you can register here.

Pivot to Increase Your Bottom Line

Sam Cannon, Wm. S. Cannon & Associates, LLC., will explain how data driven decisions can help shrink your expenses, while also retaining the key assets necessary to ramp capacity and emerge successfully. The seminar takes place Oct. 21 and you can register here.

Pivot your Most Valuable Resource – You and Your Employees

Paula Harvey, SHRM-SCP, SPHR, GPHR, VP, Human Resources/Safety, Schulte Building will delve into the do’s and don’ts of working from home, including how to prepare employees to return to the office. The seminar take places Oct. 28 and you can register here.
