Montgomery County Food Bank’s Outrun Hunger raises funds to help feed those in need of food assistance

Outrun Hunger featured a 5K trail run/walk and 1K color dash plus offered summer fun for all ages at the ‘Party Pavilion’ where guests enjoyed live music, food trucks, a kids’ zone, vendors, photo ops, and more.

Proceeds from the event benefited the Montgomery County Food Bank’s programs for children, seniors, and families facing hunger in Montgomery County. Every dollar raised will provide up to four meals for people in need of food assistance in Montgomery County.

The timed 5k trail run/walk (not a color run) registration fee ($50) provided up to 200 meals and the untimed 1k color dash registration fee ($30) provided up to 120 meals. Awards were given to the 5K age group winners, top team fundraiser, and top individual fundraiser.
