Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office hosts Annual Operation Blue Elf Bikes and Badges event

By  |

On December 9, 2023, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office teamed up with Montgomery County Constables Offices, Montgomery County Hospital District, and the Willis Fire Department to provide bicycles and a Christmas experience to over 340 children at the 7th Annual Operation Blue Elf Bikes and Badges Event.

Law enforcement and community partners, including Woodforest National Bank, Waste Connection, Wal-Mart, Entergy, worked together to bring joy and happiness to children facing challenging circumstances in our community. After receiving a bicycle, kids were able to tour law enforcement (including Montgomery County Constable’s Office Precincts 3, 4, and 5), fire, and E.M.S. vehicles, meet the men and women of law enforcement, enjoy food, games, bounce houses, and even take a photo Santa and Mrs. Claus.

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office shared, “Generous support from our community partners made this event possible. Without the partnership of Woodforest National Bank, Waster Connections, Blue Ox Moving and Storage, Entergy, Wal-Mart, HEB, Enchanted Party Rentals, North Shore Republican Women, Live Action Booth and Rentals, and The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Citizen’s Academy Alumni Association, this event would not be possible! We are so thankful to all our partners who came out to support us.”

“The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office would also like to thank all our Law Enforcement and First Responder family for their generous support and friendship. We could not have made this event successful without you.”

“The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office and all Montgomery County First Responders would like to wish our citizens a very Merry Christmas!”
