Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office holds Fall 2022 Promotion and Awards Ceremony

On October 27, 2022, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office held its Promotion and Awards Ceremony at the Lone Star Convention Center in Conroe.

Sheriff Rand Henderson presented the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office promotions and awards ceremony that acknowledged those who have shown exceptional and outstanding merits that exemplify Sheriff Henderson’s goals for the agency.

The vision for the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office’s vision is to serve as a role model for the public safety services in our state. Their mission is to provide professional detention and law enforcement service to our community through meaningful partnerships to enhance the quality of life for citizens, businesses, and visitors through efficient and innovative public safety practices. The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office’s values represent their “P.A.C.T.” (Professional, Accountable, Compassionate, and Trusted) with the community and it is the core of the unspoken and implicit agreement between citizens and peace officers.

With each individual thoroughly reviewed and carefully chosen, Sheriff Rand Henderson assigned those recognized to safeguard the community’s trust through these standards.

Promotions were given in the Administration Division, Jail Division, Administration Services Division, Patrol East Division, Patrol West Division, The Woodlands Township Division, Criminal Investigations Division, Homeland Security Division, Executive Division, Law Enforcement Services Division, and Finance Divisions. Awards were presented for the Combat Cross Award, Professional Award, Compassionate Award, Professional & Compassionate Award, Life Saving Award, Meritorious Service Award, and Special Recognitions.

Canopy Cancer Survivorship Center was also presented a check for the proceeds raised from the Sheriff’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month campaign and partnership. During the campaign, Sheriff Rand Henderson and members of the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office displayed support for breast cancer survivors and the fighters of the disease by wearing pink badges and T-shirts during October. The pink badges and shirts were paid for personally by the Sheriff’s Office employee who wears the badge or shirt for a loved one who has battled or is currently battling breast cancer.
