Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office investigates Stabbing in Magnolia
On March 9, 2023, at about 12:45 pm, Montgomery County Sheriff Office deputies responded to a Stabbing call in the 41000 block of Buckhorn Lane in Magnolia. Upon arrival, deputies learned that a 65 year old male had been stabbed and immediately began life saving measures. The male was transported to a local hospital and is currently in stable condition. It appears this incident was the result of a family disturbance involving two brothers and their father.
Christopher Lee Hunt was seen fleeing the scene and was apprehended by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office a short time later.
Detectives with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Homicide and Violent Crimes Unit and Crime Scene Investigators responded to the scene and are currently investigating. Hunt was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail where he is charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.
