By  |

On November 1st from 11am to 3pm, the Lake Creek Greenway Partnership and the Magnolia Rotary Club will proudly present the Nature and Outdoor Expo at the Magnolia Event Center. This community celebration brings together families, outdoor enthusiasts, and conservation advocates for a day dedicated to exploring and protecting the natural world.

The Expo will host numerous non-profit organizations that promote outdoor fun such as kayaking, fishing, hiking, and more. Conservation groups will highlight efforts to protect soil, water, birds, and wildlife, offering attendees valuable insight into preserving the region’s ecosystems. Guests can engage with experts, discover local nature programs, and learn practical ways to become environmental stewards.

A popular draw each year, the live animal displays give visitors of all ages a chance to get up close and personal with fascinating wildlife. Bird lovers, budding naturalists, and curious minds will have plenty to explore through interactive exhibits and educational activities.

This year, a new feature adds a special twist to the event—an artisan’s market offering a variety of handcrafted products. From unique home décor to locally made treasures, the market will be an ideal spot to shop for Christmas gifts while supporting local makers. The addition of the market blends the themes of creativity, community, and sustainability, giving attendees even more reasons to spend the day at the Expo.

Kids will have their own world of discovery, with hands-on activities designed to inspire a lifelong love of the outdoors. These engaging experiences aim to connect the next generation with the importance of caring for our planet’s natural resources.

Organizers emphasize that the event is about more than just entertainment—it’s about building connections between people and the environment, fostering a deeper appreciation for nature, and encouraging sustainable habits that benefit the whole community.

The Nature and Outdoor Expo is free and open to the public, making it an accessible and enriching experience for all. Whether you’re looking to try a new outdoor activity, learn more about conservation, meet local artisans, or simply enjoy a day of exploration, this year’s Expo promises something for everyone.
