New Danville is celebrating 20 years of serving adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities (IDD) in an environment promoting dignity, respect, and individual choice. New Danville is a 42-acre ranch in Montgomery County, founded in 2005 by Kathy Sanders. Known as Wranglers, the ranch’s 36 residents and 125 day program attendees engage in over 130 weekly classes, developing social and life skills, exploring hobbies, and forming relationships. The ranch features therapeutic animal care and job opportunities, helping Wranglers learn responsibility and earn income.

Ryan Campbell—who, at just 19, became the youngest pilot to fly solo around the world. After surviving a plane crash that left him paralyzed, Ryan’s story took flight in a new direction: toward resilience, mental health, and the power of choosing joy. His Pink Cadillac philosophy made the audience laugh, reflect, feel empowered – plus answer the question, What’s Your Pink Cadillac? Seven Wranglers also stood on stage and shared what brings them joy and why they love living, learning, working, and spending time with friends at New Danville.
This special event celebrated 20 years of progress, resilience, and community impact while raising vital funds to support programs that empower New Danville’s residents and day program participants. Learn more about New Danville and how to volunteer, donate and get involved at newdanville.org.
