Precinct 3 Road Construction Project on Rayford Road near East Benders Landing Blvd begins Thursday, May 29
Montgomery County Commissioner Ritch Wheeler shared an update on May 27, 2025 regarding a Precinct 3 project that will begin on Thursday, May 29.
“Planned asphalt pavement construction and restriping of Rayford Road just west of the intersection with East Benders Landing Boulevard is scheduled to start Thursday, May 29.
The contractor will widen pavement for approximately 240 feet past the intersection in order to create room for a merge lane after vehicles pass through the Rayford Road-East Benders Landing intersection.”
“Restriping will allow for two vehicles to approach the intersection when exiting Benders Landing Estates, then merge into one lane after passing through the four-way stop. Lane configuration when approaching the intersection will allow for a right/through lane and a left/through lane.
Motorists can expect some minor delays and detours during the work.”
