HOUSTON (October 19, 2017) –The district director for the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Houston office will be the keynote speaker at the Lone Star College-SBDC Small Business Salute luncheon November 9.

The luncheon featuring Tim Jeffcoat, district director of SBA Houston, will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Lone Star Community Building, 5000 Research Forest Drive, The Woodlands TX 77381.

“We are honored to have Mr. Jeffcoat as our keynote speaker at our Small Business Salute,” said Miguel Lopez, executive director of the LSC-SBDC. “The success of small businesses is key to the growth that you see in North Harris and Montgomery counties.

“While Hurricane Harvey may have devastated businesses and homes in and around our area, it did not deter the entrepreneurial spirit that we want to celebrate and recognize at our luncheon,” said Lopez.
