School Closings and Delays on May 2 for Montgomery County
As of 7:47 a.m. on Thursday, May 2, 2024 the following schools and school district campuses are closed or have delayed opening today.

School Closures
Willis ISD: Willis ISD schools and offices will be closed today, Thursday, May 2 due to heavy rain and flooding. Several roads our students and staff travel in on are closed due to high water. Please stay safe and heed all weather warnings from local weather experts and officials.
Sam Houston State University: SHSU Huntsville and The Woodlands Center remain closed May 2. General’s Market will open at 8 a.m. Old Main, the Library, LSC and the Rec Center are closed. SHSU-COM will remain open at this time. We are monitoring conditions.
School Delayed Opening
Lone Star College: LSC-Montgomery and Conroe Center will delay opening until 10AM today (5/2/24) due to weather.
