Schools across Montgomery County closed Monday due to potentially hazardous weather

As of 9:28 p.m. on Sunday, January 10, 2020 the following schools and school districts are closed on Monday, January 11, 2020.

Conroe ISD: “Due to potentially hazardous road conditions during morning arrival times and anticipated staffing shortages, Conroe ISD will be closed on Monday, January 11, 2021. In-Person and Remote/Online Instruction will resume on Tuesday, January 12, 2021. Covenant Christian School

Interfaith Child Development Center: “Due to inclement weather and following Conroe ISD, ICDC will be closed Monday, January 11. We will resume school for all programs on Tuesday, January 12. Thank you and stay safe!”

The John Cooper School: “Given the uncertainty of tomorrow’s weather and driving conditions, The John Cooper School will be closed tomorrow, January 11, and there will be no on campus or online classes. Middle and Upper School students should check their class pages at 10:00 a.m. tomorrow for additional information from their teachers. School will re-open on Tuesday, January 12 for both on campus and online students.”

Magnolia ISD: “Due to potentially hazardous road conditions during morning arrival times and anticipated staffing shortages, Magnolia ISD schools and offices will be closed on Monday, January 11, 2021. Students are not expected to do remote learning. Classes will resume on Tuesday, January 12, 2021. *Additionally, the COVID Testing Site will be closed.”

Montgomery ISD: “All Montgomery ISD schools and offices to be closed on Monday, January 11 due to inclement weather in the region.Due to the deteriorating weather in the area and unsafe road conditions, all Montgomery ISD schools and offices will be CLOSED tomorrow, Monday, January 11. Students will not be expected to participate in remote learning on Monday. Schools and district offices will resume normal operations on Tuesday, January 12.The safety of students and staff is always our top priority. Thank you for your patience and flexibility. Please be safe.”

Paddington British School: “Due to the potentially hazardous weather that’s expected during the early hours of the morning, we will follow Conroe ISD and also close school tomorrow, Monday, January 11, 2021. A number of our teachers have children at CISD so that presents another issue. The safety of our families and little ones is obviously a prime concern to all of us here at Paddington. Please stay safe and we look forward to seeing everyone back at school on Tuesday.”

Willis ISD: “Due to the deteriorating weather conditions and the possibility of icy roads in the morning, Willis ISD schools and offices will be closed tomorrow, Monday, Jan. 11. Students will not be expected to do online / remote learning, although they can log in and work if they choose. School will resume at the normal time Tuesday, Jan. 12. Please stay safe! *Most after school practices and events are canceled (unless you hear from your coach). The AP/DC meeting for Class of 2023 will be rescheduled.”

The Woodlands Christian Academy: “Due to inclement weather conditions, TWCA will be closed Monday, January 11, 2021. Classes will resume on Tuesday, January 12, 2021.”

The Woodlands Methodist School: “Due to potentially hazardous road conditions during morning arrival times, TWMS will be closed on Monday, January 11, 2021. In-person and remote learning will resume on Tuesday, January 12, 2021.”
