Sheriff’s Office conducts Death Investigation in The Woodlands
On July 3, 2024, at about 9:00 a.m., Montgomery County Sheriff Office Deputies responded to a welfare check at The Woodlands Mall located at 1201 Lake Woodlands Drive. Upon arrival, Deputies located a male outside of the mall who was unresponsive and later pronounced deceased on scene. The circumstances leading to the cause of death are currently under investigation. Based on the initial findings, this appears to be an isolated incident, and there is no threat to the public. The identity of the deceased male will be released once the next of kin have been notified.
Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Homicide and Violent Crimes Detectives, along with Crime Scene Investigators, are currently on scene conducting their investigation. This is an active scene, and additional information will be released once the investigation is complete.
