Splash into Summer with a Movie Night at The Pavilion
Celebrate the start of summer at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion with a screening of Finding Nemo on the venue’s 3 large LED screens Friday, May 28, 2021. All-in family fourpacks start at $20 and include four tickets and popcorn. Lawn tickets include lawn chairs. Gates open at 6:30 p.m. for the 8 p.m. movie. With its delightful cast of characters, beautiful animations and award nominated musical score by Thomas Newman, Finding Nemo is the perfect way to introduce kids to the arts while having a splashin’ good time!
“We are so excited for the opportunity to welcome community members back to The Pavilion once again to kick off the summer break,” said Jerry MacDonald, President and CEO of The Pavilion. “This will be a wonderful family event and we are looking forward to seeing everyone at the venue.”
Pre-concert activities including a photo opportunity and a special to-go craft for kids to do in their seats will be available in the plaza areas.
Please note that no bags, purses, or blankets are permitted inside of the venue. This policy is in effect to ensure the safety of guests and staff members as well as eliminate the need for close personal contact. Medically necessary bags are permitted but will be searched and tagged. Outside food will not be permitted to be brought in for this event. Concession stands will be open for the purchase of food and beverages.
Groups needing more than four seats are encouraged to purchase multiple packs next to each other. Tickets are available for purchase online only at ticketmaster.com. Please note that The Pavilion Box Office is closed for the season and will not be open for ticket distribution.
Families are also encouraged to enhance their performing arts experience with Mini Maestros, a free and exciting program that makes the arts both fun and accessible for kids of all ages. Incentives including entries for fun raffle prizes, performing arts event tickets and more will be offered throughout the season to encourage Maestros to continue their Pavilion arts journey! Families can register their children at any of The Pavilion’s performing arts events this season (look for signage in the North or South Plaza) or online at www.woodlandscenter.org/mini-maestros.
