Texas Association of Builders Recognizes Lorrie Parise as Marketing Professional of the Year
Congratulations to Lorrie Parise, Director of PR and Community Relations for Howard Hughes, for winning “Marketing Professional of the Year” from the Texas Association of Builders. During its 30th Annual Star Awards ceremony at the Fort Worth Convention Center on July 14, the Texas Association of Builders honored excellence in the homebuilding industry for TAB builders, architects, designers, sales professionals, marketing professionals, construction professionals and industry leader members.
“Lorrie has contributed to the success of our award-winning master planned communities. In addition to public relations and community outreach, she has fostered strong relationships with our builders and Realtors® as well as local organizations and non-profits to make a positive impact with our HHCares program,” said Kim Phillips, Vice President of Marketing for Howard Hughes. “Lorrie takes pride in her work and has an undeniable passion for our communities. We are proud of her and the recognition she truly deserves.”
Parise’s responsibilities include managing public relations and community relations for two master planned communities – The Woodlands and The Woodlands Hills – as well as assisting with marketing for The Woodlands Hills. She gives back to the community, serving on the boards of Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library with Children’s Books on Wheels, Montgomery County Hispanic Chamber, Women’s Council of REALTORS® – Montgomery County and The Woodlands Symphony Orchestra. In addition, she serves on the Willis ISD Education Foundation Committee and the Interfaith of The Woodlands Hometown Hero Gala Committee. Internally with Howard Hughes, she serves as the company’s DEI Council Co-Chair.
“Receiving this accolade from industry peers is truly an honor,” said Parise. “It is a privilege to work for Howard Hughes and the incredible group of individuals who truly care about our communities.”
Later in the year, Parise will have another reason to celebrate, as December marks her 25th anniversary with Howard Hughes.
