The Pavilion hosts a SPOOKtacular Evening at the Annual Hocus Pocus Pops
The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion’s annual Hocus Pocus Pops was held on Thursday, October 17. Sponsored by Woodforest National Bank, the night featured the Houston Symphony in a mesmerizing performance of horrifying horns, bewitching bassoons and chilling cellos.

Everyone was encouraged to dress up in their Halloween costume The first 100 boys and girls to check in had a chance to march in the Goblin Parade and walk on stage during the concert.
Pre-concert activities began at 6 p.m., including making spooky crafts, taking photos with favorite Halloween characters and Howard Hughes’ Puffy the Pine Cone, pumpkin decorating courtesy of H-E-B, playing music at The Pavilion Partners Instrument Petting Zoo and fun sponsor activations.
The Pavilion’s Performing Arts concerts, including this year’s Hocus Pocus Pops, are free events and tickets are not required.
