Thrive hosts 3rd Annual Montgomery County Children and Families Expo September 28
Established in 2022, Thrive Center for Success is a charter school, free to its students, in a 46,000-square-foot facility situated on ten acres in Magnolia, Texas. There are 150 students in grades K-7th grade currently enrolled at Thrive for the 2024-2025 academic year with over 350 children on the waiting list.
As the parent of a child with autism, Thrive’s Founder and Executive Director Liz Goldsmith understands the importance of having access to resources to support the family, as well as the child. Hence three years ago, the Montgomery County Children and Families Expo “The Expo” was born.
The Expo will be held September 28th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Magnolia Event Center. The purpose of the Expo is to empower each child to thrive by providing parents, caregivers, and families access to a host of services available to all children in the Montgomery County area. This fun-filled day will feature activities for children and the opportunity for parents, caregivers, and children to connect with service providers and resources. “We look forward to the Expo each year as an opportunity to showcase autism-related providers and connect them with those seeking services and to facilitate collaborations with other organizations in our community,” remarks Stacy Grimes, the event organizer.
Activities that day include photos with Superheroes and Princesses, a bounce house, an instrument petting zoo, a Family Fun Zone, and a fire truck with first responders just to name a few! There will also be a blood drive to
The Expo is seeking vendors for the event. There are a limited number of vendor booths available for $100 each and there are a variety of sponsorships available ranging from $500 to $2500. The funds raised through the Thrive With Autism Foundation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, support the initiatives of Thrive Center for Success.
