Tomball’s Tastiest Festival of the Year Returns October 19

TOMBALL, TX – Foodies rejoice! The 4th annual Freight Train Food Truck Festival rolls into Depot Plaza in downtown Tomball on Saturday, October 19th with familiar foods and new taste sensations, live music, and more fun than ever before.

Twenty of Houston’s best rolling gourmet kitchens will fill two city blocks around the historic downtown Depot with a variety of tasty treats to please any palate. Currently scheduled to attend are:

Performing on the big stage throughout the afternoon will be Galveston’s ultimate party band, the Mambo Jazz Kings, along with Folk Family Revival.

The “Pour Patio” will offer its own live entertainment and a variety of adult beverages from Karbach Brewing and a several fine wineries.

There will be merchandise vendors, a Kids Zone, and Tomball’s historic 1907 Depot railroad museum with its two detailed model railroad layouts will open for free tours throughout the afternoon.

Gates open at 11:00 a.m., with free admission and parking. Tomball is just 28-miles northwest of downtown Houston on FM 2920 at Highway 249.
