Township Community Safety Expo Event set for October 15, 2022

THE WOODLANDS, TX – The Woodlands Township will hold the National Night Out Community Safety Expo on Saturday, October 15, 2022, from noon to 3 p.m. at Northshore Park, 2505 Lake Woodlands Drive in The Woodlands, TX 77381. This free, family-friendly event highlights public safety in the community and is an excellent event for all ages.

There will be equipment and displays from local, state and federal agencies, including Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, The Woodlands Fire Department, Homeland Security and more. Residents are invited to climb aboard apparatus and learn about their roles in our community and how they keep us safe. The various agencies and groups will have information and giveaways to distribute on fire and crime prevention, emergency preparedness and health and wellness.

The expo will also include public safety demonstrations and fun for all ages. Safety presentations will include K-9 demonstrations, the Montgomery County Fire Marshal’s robots, drone demonstrations, and Entergy Arcs and Sparks power line dangers. The Kid Zone will have face painting, a bounce house, crafts and an opportunity to meet McGruff the Crime Dog. Complimentary food and refreshments will be offered while supplies last, sponsored by H-E-B, Dietz and Watson, Chick-fil-A, and Firehouse Subs.
