Township hosts Memorial Day in The Woodlands and Our Community Salutes swearing-in ceremony

The Woodlands Township invited residents to the Memorial Day in The Woodlands event on Sunday, May 28, 2023, at Town Green Park, 2099 Lake Robbins Drive, from 5 to 9 p.m.

The Memorial Day in The Woodlands event paid tribute to all military service men and women who lost their lives while serving in the United States military. Keynote speaker Colonel James B. Raney – United States Army (Retired) shared a message followed by the Our Community Salutes swearing-in ceremony. Our Community Salutes recognizes, honors and supports local high school seniors who plan to enlist into the U.S. Armed Services after graduation. The event also featured live music by Rapture (Variety),
strolling entertainment, children’s activities, concessions, and concluded with a fireworks display, presented by Woodforest National Bank.
