Visit The Woodlands receives ConventionSouth 2018 Readers’ Choice Award
THE WOODLANDS, TX – Visit The Woodlands is honored to receive a ConventionSouth 2018 Readers’ Choice Award, a national multimedia resource for meeting and event planning in the South.
Visit The Woodlands is listed amongst the premier convention and visitor bureaus (CVBs), meeting facilities and hotels located across the South to receive Readers’ Choice Awards this year. Throughout the year, meeting professionals nominated the meeting sites they believe provide exemplary service for group events. The nominated sites were then compiled onto an online ballot where meeting professionals and fans voted for the best of the best. More than 7,000 voters participated in the online ballot process this year making it the most engaging year yet.
As four-time recipients of the Readers’ Choice Award since 2001, Visit The Woodlands will be featured in the Awards Issue of ConventionSouth in December of this year.

As four-time recipients of this award since 2001, Visit The Woodlands will be featured in the Awards Issue of ConventionSouth in December of this year. The issue features peer advice and tips from meeting professionals and happens to be one of the most popular resources in the meetings industry.

Visit The Woodlands was also recently named as the 2019 Host Destination for Rendezvous South, a conference hosted by ConventionSouth. This limited attendance conference is for meeting planners looking to source group business, and is an incredible opportunity for Visit The Woodlands to showcase the destination and make lasting connections with additional meeting planners. Rendezvous South will be held from March 11-13, 2019 and the event is expected to bring between 100 to 115 people and between 35 to 45 meeting planners to The Woodlands.
