Woodforest hosts Deck the Pines Holiday Block Party in Pine Market

On Friday, December 9, 2022, businesses in Pine Market in Woodforest brought their goods and services outdoors from 5 to 8 p.m. for the Deck the Pines Holiday Block Party at 885 Pine Market Ave in Montgomery.

Hosted by the Woodforest Commercial Association, the event showcased businesses open at Pine Market, the 40-acre commercial district of Woodforest, and other businesses in the surrounding area who offered coupons, discounts and giveaways. Attendees enjoyed live music at Harvest Market and Wister’s Bar & Grill, wine and beer samples from Beerforest, sushi samples and drink specials from WO Sushi, wine tastings at Bonjour Belle Salons, and champagne served by Diva Boutique & Gifts.

While waiting for a chance to talk with Santa, children had the opportunity to participate in fun activities such as a craft table by Adventure Kids, coloring sheets from Luv Coffee, a cookie-decorating station, and bounce houses. The event also had juggling elves, face painting, a balloon artist, a DJ.

Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming handed out treats to pups in attendance and wassal to their owners. In addition to taking pictures with two- and four-legged eventgoers, Santa also helped light the 30-foot Christmas tree.
