The event was held at The Palm Information Center, 251 Central Pine Street, and offered the community and attendees nature-themed food, activities and fun, as well as opportunities to view the community’s professionally decorated model homes.

Guests nibbled on garden treats, sipped flower-adorned frozen lemonade in souvenir cups, and enjoyed live jazz music, honeybee and discovery nature exhibits, living flower entertainers and stilt walkers, children’s crafts, a balloon artist and face painting. Free tree saplings were also provided to guests.

Attendees interested in putting down roots in Woodforest had the opportunity to tour 19 model homes and speak with sales representatives about designs, floor plans and options. Learn more about Woodforest at www.woodforesttx.com.
