“As one of our core functions, The Chamber is dedicated to supporting charitable causes and the Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon is as a way to recognize those who generously give their time and talents to nonprofits working to improve the quality of life in The Woodlands area,” Cyndi Alvarado, Vice President of Membership of The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce said.

Patricia Riddlebarger, Vice President of Corporate Social Responsibility for Entergy Corporation, a Fortune 500 energy company, will serve as the luncheon’s keynote speaker. She was named one of the top 10 Latina corporate executives in the U.S. by Latina Style Magazine in 2017 and has been recognized as one of the top 50 businesswomen in New Orleans in 2011 and 2006 by New Orleans City Business magazine. She was a Young Leadership Council Role Model honoree in 2011.

“We are thrilled to provide our attendees with a dynamic and inspirational speaker, and I think they won’t be disappointed,” Alvarado said. “We always choose a speaker who demonstrates through their life and experiences the promise, possibilities, and the power individuals possess when they advocate for the issues most important to them and their community. The Chamber’s Community Relations Team selected Ms. Riddlebarger because she inspires not only leaders of nonprofit organizations, but everyone.”
