Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office makes arrest for Illegal Medical Practice Investigation

By  |

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, in collaboration with Special Agents from the Food and Drug Administration-Office of Criminal Investigations (FDA-OCI), has arrested a female suspect on felony charges related to the unlicensed practice of medicine.

The investigation began in April 2025 following allegations that a female, who falsely presented herself as a registered nurse or other medical professional, was illegally performing procedures such as Botox and lip filler injections without medical supervision. The Montgomery County Narcotics Enforcement Team (MOCONET) and VICE units joined the investigation, which identified two victims who suffered harm as a result of the procedures.

On August 22, 2025, MOCONET and VICE units, alongside FDA-OCI agents, conducted an operation that led to the arrest of Michelle Davis King. King was taken into custody on two active felony warrants, with a bond of $25,000 for each charge of Practicing Medicine without a License.
