Guests walked into the transformed space in the Howard Hughes Conference Center at Memorial Hermann’s South Tour and enjoyed a proper English tea complete with hors d’oeuvres, pastries and delights made by the talented chefs at Memorial Hermann while listening to a beautiful musical performance by Music as Medicine Rx.

Linda Nelson, Director of Canopy, welcomed guests and shared Canopy is celebrating their 10th Anniversary this year and Marcella Herrera, Program Manager of Canopy, thanked Canopy Volunteers and Staff, Memorial Hermann chefs, Junior League of The Woodlands, and National Charity League for their support and hard work in making the event possible.

The event was a special time for cancer patients and survivors to come together, share their stories, and support each other during their battle and survivorship on Valentine’s Day.
