National Youth Theater presents the heartwarming Musical ‘Big Fish’

National Youth Theater (NYT) announces its upcoming production of Big Fish, the heartwarming and fantastical musical inspired by the novel by Daniel Wallace and the acclaimed film of the same name.

Step into a world of adventure, imagination, and larger-than-life stories in Big Fish. The musical follows Edward Bloom, a master storyteller whose incredible tales of mermaids, giants, witches, and extraordinary adventures have captivated everyone around him.

As his son, Will, searches for the truth behind the stories, he discovers that the greatest lessons about love, family, and life are often found in the stories we share. Filled with unforgettable characters, heartwarming moments, and magical storytelling, Big Fish is a touching and inspiring experience for audiences of all ages.

Featuring a soaring and emotional score, Big Fish is filled with unforgettable musical moments that bring its larger-than-life characters to life. Audiences will be captivated by the mysterious witch who can see the future, the lovable giant searching for where he belongs, and the spirited Alabama Lambs whose lively musical number adds charm, humor, and heart.

The talented cast, comprised of performers ages 11–19, will bring Big Fish to life July 17-19 at the Lone Star College–Tomball Performing Arts Center, located at 30555 Tomball Parkway in Tomball, TX.

The directorial team includes director Aimee Bowles, assistant director Courtney Villarreal, vocal director Kevin Bowles, choreographer Chloe Neal and intern choreographer Audrey Terrill.
