Jennifer Bruse, Founder, President and CEO

Native Houstonian, Entrepreneur, Award-Winning Videographer and Photographer, Writer, Marketing Expert, Speaker, member of the Loft at The Woodlands Methodist Church, Board Member of The Woodlands Chamber of Commerce, member of the Canopy Cancer Survivorship Center Advisory Council, and The Woodlands/Conroe resident for over 18 years. Jennifer served previously on the Administrative Board for The Woodlands Methodist Church and the Board of Directors for The Woodlands Arts Council. Jennifer Bruse is the Founder, Owner, President and CEO of Hello Woodlands, Co-Owner of Hello Local News, and lives in Montgomery County with her husband Rod and their rescue dog, Bella. Learn more

Rod Prado, Director of Technology and Photography

Businessman, Photojournalist, Videographer, Puerto Rican Native, and The Woodlands/Spring/Conroe Resident for over 30 years.  Rod finished a career with the United States Department of Justice, Executive Office for Immigration Review, in Houston, Texas. In mid-2018, Rod became a full time volunteer and photographer for Hello Woodlands. Rod is also a member of the Board of Directors for the Montgomery County Hispanic Chamber.

Rod completed his high school in Puerto Rico, at Antilles Military Academy.  Rod earned a music scholarship to attend Valley Forge Military Academy and College in Wayne, Pennsylvania. As a member of The Regimental Band, he played trombone, euphonium, and valve trombone with The Herald Trumpets.  At Valley Forge, he received The Alumni Gold Sword and was selected twice for appointment in the Anthony Wayne Legion Guard.

Nick Rama, Food Writer

Nick Rama is a food writer, contributor of Hello Woodlands, and shares his restaurant experiences on Nick’s Local Eats at NicksLocalEats.com and the TX BBQ, Burgers and Brew Facebook page. Nick enjoys helping the small business owner, supporting his community with fundraising for food banks, and plans tasting events with locally owned mom and pop restaurants.
