Owner Heather Brockus shared in our recent interview that, “Artisan Culture Coffee first opened its doors on September 22, 2020. My mission was to create a health focused coffeehouse that puts full consideration into what my guests are served. No artificial flavors, food coloring or processed food on the menu. Immune boosting beverages and quality sweet and savory options are available. Relocating to The Grogans Mill Shopping Center will naturally increase foot traffic, create synergistic relationships with neighboring businesses and the weekly Farmer’s Market brings in a good size crowd. The 2260 Buckthorne Place #179 location is easier to access using the trails making it safer to walk or bike.”
Artisan Culture Coffee (ACC) sells and serves locally roasted coffee, vegan and gluten free options, fresh mushrooms from local growers, and local made soap and products. One of the Hello Woodlands team’s menu item favorites, the House Special, is a lion’s mane latte with oat milk and cinnamon.
What makes Artisan Culture Coffee unique is that they have a composting program with ZeroWaste and host networking groups, health and wellness classes, guest speakers and events for the community, by the community.
To kick off the celebration and support the local small business, Miguel Lopez on behalf of Conganas helped serve coffee and bought guests coffee from 7 to 10 a.m. on the morning of the Grand Opening. Artisan Culture Coffee and Puréfi Coffee Roasters matched (in coffee) the amount local business Conganas purchased to donate to local first responders. “Garden Marcus” and Dana, founders of Choice Forward, also led a sound bowl meditation to celebrate the reopening.
