Conroe ISD to Hold District Art Show Open House
CONROE, TX – Conroe ISD will hold its annual District Art Show Open House Saturday, September 16, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Deane L. Sadler Administration Building.
More than 400 pieces of art from talented students from all grade levels across the six high school feeder zones were selected to be displayed throughout the building during the 2023-24 school year. There are several sculptures and many drawing, painting, and even quilling techniques represented in the two-dimensional pieces. This year’s display also includes a stop-motion movie created by sixth graders.
Each two-dimensional piece is custom framed by Picture Worth to accentuate the colors and features of the art.
While the District Art Show Open House is a free come-and-go event, due to the high number of expected attendees, the artists and art teachers from each feeder zone will be appearing at the following times:
- Grand Oaks – 9 a.m.
- Oak Ridge – 10 a.m.
- Conroe – 11 a.m.
- Caney Creek – Noon
- The Woodlands – 1 p.m.
- College Park – 2 p.m.
